Grass Roots Planning Ltd is a planning consultancy that is based in Bristol. We provide comprehensive and cost effective planning advice, and alongside our partners, ecology, master planning and architectural services.

Since inception the company has grown organically to marry experienced planners with talented graduates to service a rapidly expanding client base and project portfolio. We have worked all over the UK since the company was formed, with some of our recent projects being undertaken in the South West, South Wales, London, and the North West of England.

The company offers focused planning, design and project management services to a range of clients including landowners, land promoters, house builders, financial institutions, developers and waste operators.

Residential, Commercial, Recreational & Mixed-Use Planning Consultancy

Building on experience gained in both private and public sector planning environments, we operate in the residential, commercial (although usually our schemes are mixed use), recreational and waste sectors.

Our residential experience ranges from high quality one off mansions through urban regeneration projects right up to large scale urban extensions of many thousands of units. This experience encompasses both immediate and longer term development projects so we often coordinate the discharging of planning conditions and submission of Section 73 applications where required.

Our commercial experience includes the delivery of a servicing area for the A303, industrial agricultural produce processing facilities, hotels, concrete plants and retail units including small to medium scale food stores.

We have also played a central role in delivering a number of diverse sports and recreational projects. These have included proposals for two new high quality rugby training facilities in and nearby Bristol, fishing lakes complexes and a range of smaller artificial and grass playing pitch projects. Our clients in relation to these matters have included Top Tier Sports Clubs, charities, private schools, town councils and earthworks and drainage contractors.
