This project involved the development of a constrained
backland site in the centre of the high quality area of
Bishopston in Bristol. The main issues connected to the
project related to the density of the development, design
considerations and overlooking and overshadowing amenity
impacts. Grass Roots Planning obtained planning permission for
Clifton Homes at appeal after a series of schemes for the site
had failed, including previous appeals.
